Ricardo (Rick) Ramirez Gomez, 61, passed away on January 30, 2026 in Lubbock, Texas. Celebration of Life will be held at Green Lawn Church of Christ on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 10 a.m.

Rick was born on July 9, 1964 in Lubbock, Texas to Victorino and Naomi Gomez. He grew up and attended schools in Lubbock. He graduated from Lubbock High School in 1983. He loved finding new restaurants to eat at and watching shows and football.

Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Naomi Gomez and sister, Rebecca Polete.

Survivors include his son, Marc Jakob Gomez, his mother, Jessie Martin, father, Victorino Gomez, sister, Rosanne Segovia and his nieces and nephew.
