Priscilla Smith Obituary Priscilla Ann (Pat) Smith (age 75) lost a brief, but valiant, battle with cancer on Sunday, May 31, 2015. Graveside services will be at 2 pm Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. She was born September 6, 1939 to Herbert and Ruth Murphy, in Waltham, Massachusetts, and preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Bill, Brian and Kevin. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Guy, two sons, Daniel and Sean, all of Lubbock; and a granddaughter, Erin Smith, of Houston. She is also survived by 6 sisters; Phyllis Parker, Jan Spangler, Carol Avalos, Sandy Fitzpatrick, Kathleen Andrianos and Mary Skorka, as well as 4 brothers; Bud, Niel, Keith, Kevin and Tim. She was an "Air Force brat", attending far too many schools to list, and earned a degree in child development from South Plains College. She enjoyed interacting with children, painting, writing children's stories, and gardening. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Hospice of Lubbock. Services
