Paul Pogue, Sr Obituary Paul Pogue Sr. lost his long, and courageous, battle with cancer on Thursday, January 10, 2013, in Lubbock. He was born into this life Tuesday, January 27, 1948 to O'dell and Dorothy (Scalf) Pogue, in Jacksonville, Texas. Paul proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy. After serving his country and being honorably discharged, he was a general contractor in Oklahoma City Oklahoma; which brought him to Lubbock where he met his love Betty Greene; they were married August 29, 1989, in Lubbock, TX. Paul loved his family, fishing, and wood working. He was an avid animal lover. Paul is survived by his wife of 24 years, Betty; three children, Paul II of Oklahoma, Tami of Lubbock, and Ike of Lubbock; three grandchildren, Josh, Kyle, and Kindra; six sisters, Martha, Rita, Carolyn, Barbara, Jackie, Tina, and one brother Douglas; and numerous other family and friends. Pauls love will never end; he will be truly missed by all. A memorial service, to celebrate Paul's 64 years of life, is scheduled for 10:30 A.M., Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Agape Funeral Chapel, Lubbock. There will also be a memorial service at 2pm Saturday February 9, 2013 in the American Legion Post #34 located at 2101 Sunset Drive El Reno, Oklahoma.
