Ora Walker Obituary Ora Dorman Walker, "Butch" was passed from this life Saturday, January 11, 2014, in Shallowater. He was born into this life Thursday, October, 12, 1944 to Homer Edward and Willie Mae (Wimpie) Walker in Quitaque. "Butch" proudly served his country, enlisting in the United States Navy, where he served two terms during Vietnam. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Ora Walker is survived by his wife, Virginia (Wren) Walker, of 47 years; Lillian K Groves, Marion E.Walker, Edward L.Walker, Melissa D.Walker, Frank P.Groves and Jody Studdard; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his Mother Willie Mae Barham; three brothers Winfred Walker, Doyle Walker and Max Barham. A memorial service, to commemorate Ora's 69 years of life, will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Agape Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Lubbock.
