Olga Solano Obituary Olga Martinez Solano was born in Lubbock, TX, on November 9th, 1962, to Rufus and Gricelda Martinez. Olga was a cherished member of her community and a beloved family member. She is preceded in death by her father, Rufus O. Martinez. She is survived by her mother, Gricelda Martinez; sister, Norma Martinez; husband, Joseph Edward Solano; daughter, Ariel Nicole Solano; son, Aaron Joseph Solano; and daughter-in-law, Cassidy Perez. Olga had two grandchildren that she loved deeply, Zachary J. Solano and Calei Grace Solano. Olga graduated from Dunbar High School in 1981. She later married her caring and loving husband, Joseph Edward Solano, on April 27th, 1991. She dedicated 26 years of her life to University Medical Center, where she grew with her fellow colleagues. Olga's warmth, kindness, and unwavering support touched the lives of many. She will be remembered for her pretty smile, fancy jewelry, purses, and her huge pen collection. Some favorite hobbies were playing bingo with her family and friends. She loved getaway vacations to the casino with her husband. Olga loved '80s and '90s music. Her favorite groups were Foreigner, The Eagles, Backstreet Boys, and many more. Olga passed away peacefully on November 8th, 2024, surrounded by everyone who loved her. Olga's legacy of love and compassion will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew her.
