Odessa Sackettt Obituary God has chosen another angel. On Sunday July 22nd, 2018 at 12:22am, Odessa Dalene Sackett, 80, passed from this world and into the loving arms of her husband, Gary Sackett, who preceded her in death. Also, there to greet her was her daughter, Rhonda Estep. Those who had to stay behind and didn't get to see our glorious Savior just yet include…. brothers, John, Jim and wife Jenny, George and wife Carolynn, sister Peggy with husband Jim, daughters Vickie and husband Terry, Brenda and husband Larry, Robin and husband Doug, and Janet with husband Junior; sons Royce, Gary and wife Renee, and Terry with wife Margo. Also, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandkids, and great grandkids too numerous to list here. She would tell you what she thought whether you wanted to hear it or not. That, however, is what made her so very special, because she cared enough to share her advice with you. Although cantankerous, she was also the most doting mother and grandmother for which anyone could ever ask. She will be severely missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to the nurses, caregivers, and staff of Girling Home Health and Kindred Hospice. Viewing will take place Tuesday, July 24th from 5-7pm at Agape Funeral Chapel in Lubbock. Funeral is set for Wednesday, July 25th at Bible Baptist Church in Slaton at 2pm with Graveside services to follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery. Services
