Nikole Tackett Obituary Nikole Eloise Tackett of Seminole Texas passed away on December 13, 2023, in Lubbock Texas at Covenant Medical Center at the age of 33 surrounded by friends and family. She was born on April 23, 1990, in West Jordan, Utah to Jessie Kirk Tackett and Valerie Rae Canada. Nikole was known as Nikki to her friends and family and Aunt Nini to her nieces and nephews. Nikki graduated from Seminole High School in 2008. During her school years, she was active in cheerleading starting in middle school up until she graduated, and loved playing volleyball and softball, all of which she excelled at. During her senior year of high school, Nikki was elected basketball homecoming queen and Lions Club Queen. She participated in Theater and Drama, to which she won several awards. Growing up she learned to ride dirt bikes with her dad and brother, and one of her favorite past times was riding motorcycles leading to her owning her own Harley Davidson motorcycle. Nikki was known to all as a ferocious ball of energy to everyone around her. She never met anyone she wasn't immediately friends with and was always willing to help anyone, at anytime and anywhere. She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie (Kirk) Tackett; grandparents, Ronald and Phyllis Roehler; John and Eloise Tackett; uncle, John Roehler; and aunt, Georgia Ann Rinehart. She is survived by her parents Dee and Valerie Canada; sisters Jennifer Sherfield and husband Mike Sherfield and Jessica Powell and fiancé Jessie Yuen; brother Jeromie Pickering and wife Shannon Pickering; fiancé Dustin Love; two half-sisters Angela Hedstrom and Elisa Rankin; stepsister Tori Davis; and twelve nieces and nephews that were the light of her eyes, Elizabeth Powell, Amy Davis, Megan Davis, Kylar Pickering, Devon Davis, Danika Yuen, Emalee Powell, JD Yuen, Rylan Pickering, Harley Dolloff, Kelan Pickering, Rowik Pickering and Cole Sherfield. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Cowboy Junction Church, 9924 Catchings Road, Hobbs New Mexico 88242.
