Mildred Blake Obituary Mildred Ruby Blake, 84, of Lubbock, Tx. went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2014. Mildred was born Sept. 21, 1929 to James & Altha Atchley of Mena, Arkansas. She worked at Texas Instruments and was a homemaker. Mildred will be greatly missed by her family. Mildred is survived by two sons, Larry and Dwayne Blake of Lubbock, two daughters Carol Bates of Lubbock and Donna Manns of Whitharrel, brother Jim Atchley of Mission, Tx., Polly Newman of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Ruth Romig of El Paso, Tx. She has 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Blake, two sons Rudy and David Blake and daughter Laura Blake The funeral will be Wednesday April 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Agape Funeral Home, with Graveside services at Lubbock Cemetery. Officiating will be Mike Davis. Viewing & visiting with family will be April 15th from 5-7 p.m. at Agape Funeral Home.
