Mike Terpening Obituary Mike Wayne Terpening, of Cheyenne, WY suddenly passed from this life Monday, December 23, 2013, in Lubbock, TX. He was born in to this life Tuesday, February 5, 1952 to Cecil Wayne and Annie Lucille (Myers) Terpening in Denver, CO. Mike loved to move about the country in his younger years and had three very different occupations - Car Salesman, Flooring Installer and Flambe Man at 5 Star French restaurants. Depending on where he wanted to go live he would choose one of the occupations to support himself. After marrying in 1991and continuing until 2003 he started and operated three separate businesses which made use of all his talents. Mike was dearly loved, especially by his grandchildren, and will be greatly missed. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Pete and Lucille Terpening, sisters Fern Gadbury and Bette Brodeur, brothers John Pete Terpening and Don Gadbury, and grandson Harvey Chance Valenzuela. He is survived by his wife Celeste of the home, daughters Marci Terpening and Meagan (Steve) Harrison and grandson Preston Harrison, granddaughters Taylor Valezuela and Rozalyn Harrison. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. A memorial, to commemorate Mike's 61 years of life, is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 27, 2013 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6318 34th St, Lubbock, TX.
