Michael Wilson Obituary Michael Scott Wilson, 52, passed from this life Tuesday, October 30, 2012, surrounded by the love of those who were around him. He was born Sunday, November 8, 1959, to Ronald Lee and Avis Darlene (Cornell) Wilson, in Axtell, Kansas. Mike was a motorcycle enthusiast, who looked forward to trips with his wife, family and friends. He enjoyed spending weekends hunting and fishing with his grandson. Mike was a devoted, caring and loving husband, father, grandfather and was a friend to all. Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Becky, of Shallowater; a daughter Amber (Richard) Woodcock; a grandson Peyton Wilson, all of Lubbock; his parents Ron Wilson of Wichita, Kansas and Darlene Spaugh of Warsaw, Missouri. Mike is also remembered by many loving brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends who all played very important roles in his life. A memorial service, to celebrate Mike's 52 years of life, is scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 2, 2012 at Quaker Avenue Church of Christ, Lubbock. Flowers for the memorial service will be received Friday morning, prior to the scheduled service, at Quaker Ave. Church of Christ, Lubbock, or the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choosing.
