Melba Jo Knight Obituary On Wednesday, December 28, 2022, Melba Jo (Fulton) Nance Knight, passed away at the age of 89. Jo was born on February 25, 1933, in King County, TX to B and Thelma (Vaden) Fulton. She married John Nance on January 29, 1953. They had two sons, Larry and Kevin, and one daughter, Kim. Jo graduated from Paducah High School in 1950. She was a member of both the PHS women's basketball and softball teams. Jo is preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, HB (Skeet) Fulton, Margaret Whorton, Sam Fulton, Joyce Burton, and Dwight Fulton; and husbands John Nance and Wade Knight. Jo is survived by her three children, Larry and Perri Nance, Kevin and Monica Nance, Kim and Ronnie Morse; her seven grandchildren, Brittany and Richard Romick, Mitchell and Jessica Morse, Trey Nance, Heather and Steven Howell, Mindy and Jeremy Cave, Bailee and Austin Piercefield, Matthew Morse; and her six great-grandchildren, Jaden Morse, Ivy Morse, Andrew Romick, Myles Morse, Amelia Romick, and Mason Morse. A family graveside service will be held at a later time in Hobbs, NM.
