Mary Blake Obituary Mary Isabell L. Blake (October 8, 1948 - At Peace: June 27, 2021) Mary was born in Weslaco, Tx to Guadalupe Guerrero Leal and Pablo G Leal. Sister to: Paul Leal of Lubbock, Soloman Leal(1951-1977) and Rosa Linda Williams of Burleson Beloved wife to Glenn C. Blake of 39 years. Mother of Andrea I Deleon, Benjamin L DeLeon and to Benjamin D Blake and Martha E. Blake. Grandmother to: James, Logan and Daniel Mewborn, Zachary and Kiera Blake. And Nathaniel(1994-1995) Great Grandmother to Saige B.Mewborn and Jasper Z. Mewborn Mary graduated from Lubbock High School in 1968. She worked as a legal secretary and later for the Lubbock Central Appraisal District, from where she would retire. Mom/ Mary/ Grandma was a remarkable woman and lived a remarkable life; serving her family, the church and helping those who came into her life.Mom/ Mary/ Grandma was a natural talent at whatever she chose to set her hand to. Cake decorating, photography, cooking and various other crafts. She loved band and orchestra music. Mom/ Mary/ Grandma's faith in God was evident, marked-up and worn Bibles were never far from her. She truly lived out Proverbs 31: 10-31. We know that she is at rest in the Lord and awaits the call, "well done good and faithful servant."
