Marty Lamkin Obituary Marty Lamkin, 53, of Lubbock, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, while at Covenant Medical Center, after a brief illness. Marty was born Sunday, February 2, 1959, to Lawrence and Jenell(Bone)Lamkin, in Lubbock, Tx. Marty was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Lamkin of Lubbock. He is survived by two sons, Blaine Lamkin of Amarillo, and Casey Lamkin of Littlefield; a daughter Jillian Lamkin of Littlefield; father, Lawrence Lamkin of Lubbock; mother, Jenell Gilbert and husband Jady of Snyder; two siblings, Cindy Lamkin and Andy Lamkin, both of San Antonio; two stepbrothers, Jeff Gilbert of Ira, and Jody Gilbert of Snyder; a stepsister, Jayna Hunter of Snyder; and many friends and loved ones. A memorial service, to celebrate Marty's 53 years of life, is scheduled for 11 A.M., Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Calvary Baptist Church on 82nd St., Lubbock, Texas.
