Marjorie Rife Obituary Marjorie Roberta Rife passed from this life, to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, August 24, 2014 in Slaton, TX. She was born into this life September 24, 1920 to Cecil Lossen and Gertrude Anna (Clawson) Bennett in Hornbrook, Siskyou, CA. Marjorie lived most of her life in San Francisco, with her husband, until 1984 when they moved to Lubbock, Texas. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Maurice and daughter Linda. She leaves behind a daughter and son in law, Trudy and David Burks; Granddaughter Tatum and husband Michael; a Grandson and his family, Charles and Elizabeth Brown and "Bubba"; Grandsons Ronald and Billy Burks and their families. She has 8 great grandchildren. A private family memorial, to commemorate Marjorie's 93 years of life, will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Agape Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Lubbock.
