Mariona Cardona, Jr Obituary Mariano Cardona, Jr. passed from this life Sunday, December 23, 2012, in Lubbock. He was born Monday, February 23, 1976 to Mariano and Isabel (Ortiz) Cardona in Muleshoe. Mariano graduated from Cal Farley's Boys Ranch. Until his eyesight failed him, he was a tattoo artist. Win or lose, he was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. Mariano's faith in God was strong, and he had a deep love for the Virgen de Guadalupe. Mariano was preceded in death by his mother, Isabel Cardona on March 12, 1997, his sister Laura Cardon on December 10, 2010, and his father Mariano Sr. on April 22, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Sistos and son, Fabian Michael Sistos of Lubbock; grandmother, Juanita Ortiz of Robbinsdale, MN; Aunt Mary Hernandez of Smyer; two Uncles; and numerous cousins. A memorial service, to celebrate Mariano's 36 years of life, is scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Our Lady of Grace, Lubbock. Arrangements were entrusted to Agape Funeral Chapel, Lubbock.
