Margarita Mireles Obituary Margarita Martinez Mireles, 69, of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 25, 2025 in the Agape Funeral Chapel (6625 W. 19th St. Lubbock, Texas 79407). Margarita was born on August 10, 1955 in Canyon, Texas to Jose Martinez, Sr. and Antonia Franco Martinez. She grew up in Canyon and graduated from High School there. She worked in childcare and worked for several daycares and eventually owned and operated her own daycare. She loved children very much. After her health took her to the nursing home, she enjoyed playing games with the other residents. She is survived by her brother, Jose Martinez; two sisters, Angelina Martinez Ramirez and Amelia Chute and husband Robyn; and many other relatives and friends. Services
