Marcene Gutierrez Obituary Funeral services for Marcene Shirley Gutierrez, 65 of Shallowater, will be at 1pm Friday Feb. 24, 2012 at Agape Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday Feb. 23, 2012 at Agape Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Marcene was born Aug.14, 1946. She passed away Feb. 20, 2012. Before moving to Texas from California Marcene was an EMT, firefighter, police officer and prison guard. Marcene is survived by her husband Luis Gutierrez Jr.; son Daniel Chancellor of Shallowater; daughter Andria Chancellor of Slaton; step children Luis Gutierrez III; Fabian Gutierrez; Bernice Gutierrez and Amy Villalobos all of Lubbock and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Kathleen Allison Sept. 11, 2007.
