Lois Weems Obituary Lois Nadine Weems, 91 of Lubbock, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Covenant Hospital. She requested to be cremated and the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. She was born December 29, 1923, in Norman, Oklahoma. She graduated from Floydada High School and Draughon's Business College. Nadine worked in retail sales for Hemphill's and Dillard's for over 25 years, retiring in 1995. Nadine was one of the founders of Flint Avenue Baptist Church in 1953 and was a devoted Christian all her life. She was active in United Way for many years. She is survived by her son, Jerry Weems, her daughter, Linda Brunson, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Nadine was a gentle, caring person and will be greatly missed by her loving family. Services
