Leonard Beattie Obituary Leonard L. Beattie passed from this life Tuesday, September 10, 2013, in Wolfforth. He was born into this life Monday, November 26, 1945, to John Leonard and Audrey Mae (Maples) Beattie in Maryville Missouri. Leonard proudly served his country, enlisting in the United States Air Force; he served from September 1965 to November 1985. During his military career, Leonard married Yolanda Salinas on December 1, 1979. Leonard was preceded in death by a sister Alice Wardlow. He is survived by his wife Yolanda; a son Juan "JR" Rios of Lubbock; a daughter Beatrice Alonzo of Wolfforth; and Angie, Jackie, and Corie of Alabama. A memorial service, to commemorate Leonard's 67 years of life, is scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Iglesia Bautista El Calvario, Lubbock, with Pastor Juan Rios officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Agape Funeral Chapel, Lubbock, TX.
