Lawrence Young Obituary Celebration of Life Services for Lawrence Young of Lubbock will be at 2pm Monday March 5, 2012 at Agape Funeral Chapel. Lawrence passed away Feb. 28, 2012. He was born June 22, 1917 in Rantoul, IL. After graduating from the University of Illinois, he served in the army during WWII and the Korean War. He was married to Helen Reiners for 55 years. Lawrence was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, a life insurance underwriter and a member of the American Contract Bridge League. Survivors include 3 daughters Ann English and husband David of Houston; Cathy Roberts and husband Larry of Midland; Mary Watts and husband Jayce of Lubbock; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, 3 brothers and 1great grandson Tyler Morgan. His cremation was under the direction of Agape Funeral Chapel.
