Kristy Edwards Obituary RN Kristy Brooks Edwards (Bigelow) passed away April 4, 2014, at the age of 62 at a skilled nursing facility in Lubbock, TX. She is survived by her husband Heziki "Bull" Edwards of Hobbs, NM, son Scott Brooks and wife Sandy Brooks of Big Spring, daughter Tara Schmidt and husband David Schmidt of Big Spring, and two grandchildren Lindsey Brooks and Kendall Brooks, both of Big Spring. She also has extended family in Michigan where she was born and raised. Kristy had recently retired from the VA hospital in Big Spring, TX where she had been employed as an for many years.
