Obituary

Kirstie Rae Gamboa was born on October 4, 1992, in Lubbock, Texas, and passed away in Austin, Texas, leaving behind a life remembered for her warmth, adventurous spirit, and deep love for the people and animals she held dear.

Those who knew Kirstie will remember her as a bright light, someone who brought laughter, kindness, and a sense of adventure wherever she went. She valued friendship deeply and loved spending time with those closest to her. Her presence was a gift to her family and friends, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love her. A proud graduate of Texas Tech University, Kirstie earned her Bachelor's degree and carried that accomplishment with pride. She was known for her determination, her strong work ethic, and her ability to connect with others in a genuine and meaningful way. In her professional life, she worked as both a real estate agent and a bartender, roles that reflected her outgoing personality and her gift for making people feel welcome.

Kirstie lived life with energy and enthusiasm. Her love of the outdoors and adventure took her to beaches, trails, and destinations near and far. She enjoyed playing sand volleyball, surfing, hiking, and traveling, and she especially treasured her visits to Costa Rica. She also loved attending music festivals in Austin and Las Vegas, where she could enjoy the music, the atmosphere, and the company of friends. Whether she was hiking in Ruidoso, New Mexico, the Redwoods of Oregon, exploring Big Bend National Park, or walking the many trails throughout Austin, Kirstie embraced each experience with joy and curiosity.

Kirstie was the beloved daughter of Ramon and Elia Gamboa and the cherished sister of Jonathan Gamboa. She was also a devoted fur mom to Aboo, Lucy, and Lilly, who brought her great joy and companionship. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Mary Gamboa, and Margarito and Alice Garcia, whose memory remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Kirstie Rae Gamboa will be remembered for her loving heart, her adventurous soul, and the many ways she made life brighter for others. Though her time here was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain forever treasured.
