Kathy Bedford, 83, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026.

Kathy was born in Chicago, Illinois, to her parents, Juanita and George Lawler. She had 6 children, multiple grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In her later years, Kathy was lovingly cared for by her daughter, Jennifer Bedford, who served as her primary caregiver, providing her with devoted care, comfort, and companionship.

Kathy passed away peacefully with her daughter Jennifer, her son-in-law Renee Villegas, her daughter Angela, and her granddaughter Miranda by her side, surrounded by the love of her family in her final moments.

Kathy also shared a special bond with her great-grandson, Brandon, whose frequent visits brought her companionship, happiness, and many cherished moments.

Kathy will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the many memories she leaves behind. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
