Karen Bornick Obituary Karen Diann Bornick, RNC entered into her eternal life on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at the age of 72. She departed peacefully in the presence of her pastor Ellis Dean, and her husband Ron. Karen was born on February 16, 1944. She married Ron Bornick on July 7, 1974. They moved to Ransom Canyon in 1984. Karens entire career life was in nursing and patient care. She retired from UMCs NICU department in May of 2012. She was always active with community, especially the Chapel of Ransom Canyon She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Malinda Kautz, and her sister Bethann. She is survived by her husband Ron, of 42 years, her brothers David and Paul, her sisters Darlene, Lou, and Brenda. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 23rd, 2:00p.m. at the Ranch House in Ransom Canyon.
