Junior Hughes Obituary Junior Hughes, age 81, passed away on April 16, 2015. He was born October 16, 1933 near Oakwood, TX. He married his wife of 63 years, Annie Valentine Hughes, December 1, 1951. He is preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Fannie Elma Hughes and a sister Lillie Mae Phillips. He is survived by his wife Annie, his sister Dorothy Musick, son Danny Hughes and wife Oretta, son Dwight Hughes and wife Robin and a daughter, Patricia Hughes Almack and husband Charlie. He had seven grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was a certified Doctor of Motors most of his life and retired from Continental Battery after 17 years of service. Graveside services will be held 3pm Wednesday April 22, 2015 at Resthaven Cemetery. Service provided by Agape Funeral Chapel with Paige Allen officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Interim Hospice of Lubbock. Services
