Julio Galicia Obituary Julio Galicia passed on Thursday, January 8, 2015, in Lubbock TX. Services will be held at 2:00 on Monday the 19th at Saint Philip Catholic Church on 10th and avenue J in Shallowater Tx. Julio is proceeded in death by his parents Juan and Irene Galicia, sister Mary Alvarez, and son Tony Galicia. Julio is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rosemary Galicia, who he loved and devoted his life to, five children, Enos & Rebecca Benavidez, Debbie &Vincent Gonzales, Courtney, Julio JR, and Cory Galicia. Nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three brothers, Juan Jr, Hershel and Robert Galicia, and seven sisters Janie Martinez, Ramona & Martin Medellin, Daisy & Jamie Herrera, Frances Mercado, Gloria & Ricardo Herrera, Jessica & Jose Garzes, and Ruby Quevedo. Julio was employed at Texas Tech but also stayed busy helping everyone he knew around Lubbock. He was a kind and loving man who always wanted to help everyone, he would've given you the shirt off his back. He loved his family and spoiled his grandkids, he loved his friends and shared many stories that we will miss. Julio will live on forever in our hearts. Services
