Judy Maddox Obituary Funeral services for Judy Kay Puryear Maddox, 68, of Lubbock, will be held at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday March 31, 2015 at the Church of the Blessed with the Rev. Johnny Perez officiating. Grave side services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the City of Lubbock Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 P.M at the Agape Funeral Chapel. Judy died at 5:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock after a long illness. A native of Lubbock, Judy was born November 7, 1947 to Roy Alvin Puryear and Reba Swift Puryear. Judy is preceded in death by her parents; Roy and Jerry Puryear, and husband Lynn Maddox. Survivors include one son, Gary Maddox and wife Cherie of Springlake; five daughters, Angela Boase of Weatherford, Shelly Sjostrom and husband Gerald of Lubbock, Tamera Maddox of Austin, Misty Jackson and husband Tom of Pennsylvania, Brigitte Henry and husband Albert of Abilene.
