Joy Shepler Obituary Service for Joy Lyn Shepler, 47 of Lubbock, TX, will be at 11:00, Friday Aug. 4th, 2017 at Agape Funeral Chapel, with Lupe Perez officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. at Agape Funeral Chapel. She died on Saturday, July 29th, 2017. She was born January 5th, 1970, in La Mesa, CA. Joy was a true friend to everyone; caring for loved ones and even strangers. She was positive in all things, including her long term illnesses. Her witness to everyone was her perseverance through hard times, financial and physical. She claimed her trust and faith in God and glorified Him in her laughter and ever present smile and twinkling eyes. Joy loved her work at Fleming Investments where she was a dedicated and supportive employee. She continuously spoke of the loves of her life, nieces Layla and Bella as well as sister Kira and dad, Glen. She has joined her mother in heaven as they are both rejoicing in love and celebration. Survivors include her father, Glen; sister, Kira; nieces, Layla and Bella; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
