Johnny Escobar Obituary Johnny Ray Escobar was born March 26, 1965 in Plainview, TX to Dorothy & Armando Gaytan. He passed away on March 7, 2016 in Lubbock at the age of 50. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday March 19th, 2016 at the Plainview Civic Center 2902 W. Fourth St. Plainview, TX at 10 am. Johnny was preceded in death by his Grandparents Manuel & Tina Escobar, Jose Angel Gaytan, Socorro & Mosses Guerrero, his mother Dorothy Galvan, & his brother Gilbert Gaytan. He is survived by his daughter, Kacee Escobar (fianc Jacob Teofilo) of Clovis, NM, his father Armando (Sally) Gaytan of Lubbock, his grandson Andrew Teofilo of Clovis, NM, sister Becky Arcos of Lubbock, several nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.
