John "Red" Roberson Jr. Obituary John Thomas Roberson Jr ( Red), born on April 2, 1954, to JT Sr and Dorothy Roberson in Lubbock, Texas, was called home on July 30, 2015. John was proceeded in death by his parents JT Sr. and Dorothy Roberson. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tamera Roberson; children Shelbie and husband Mike Thompson, John Thomas Roberson III, Ashton Gifford, and Caleb Roberson all of Lubbock, TX. John was also survived by sister Pam Carr and husband Jimmy, sister Tavia Grizzel and husband Mark, brother Todd Roberson and wife Shanna; numerous nieces and nephews; nine very beloved grandchildren and many friends. Memorial Services for John Thomas Roberson Jr. (Red) will be held Monday, August 3, 2015, at 2:00 PM at The Worship Center (TWC) Church located at 12701 Indiana Ave, Lubbock with Pastor Ray Buffington III officiating. John will be cremated and ashes will be interned at a private family gathering later in the month. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to TWC church at the familys request. Agape Funeral Chapel in Lubbock, TX is handling all of the arrangements for cremation. There will not be a viewing or visitation, just the Memorial Services. "It aint nothing but a thing!"
