John Beamer Obituary John H. Beamer, 64 of Lubbock, TX died Friday, March 30, 2018 after a lengthy illness. John was born February 1, 1954 to Edwin and Adele (LaFary) Beamer in Wellington, KS. He attended Wellington High School and graduated in 1972. John was married to Teresa Stinson in 1974 and they moved to Lubbock, TX in 1984. John was employed as a copier tech for Baker Graphics and later as a chef for the Salvation Army in Lubbock. He was known for his lifelong love of the guitar and sharing this gift brought joy to many. He was a member of The Worship Center in Lubbock. John is survived by his ex-wife and friend, Teresa Stinson of Wellington, KS. Daughters Jennifer Beamer of Colorado Springs, CO and Sarah Purdon of Lubbock, TX, and granddaughter Rebekah Ayala of Lubbock, TX. Brother Robert (Vanda) Beamer of Madison, AL. A private family ceremony is planned for a later date. Memorials for John can be made to the Wellington, KS Humane Society or the Lubbock, TX Salvation Army. Services
