Joe Moore Obituary Joe H Moore passed away July 10, 2014 in Lubbock, at the age of 73. He was born June 4, 1941 to Joe Herman and Lillie Mavis (Thornburg) Moore in Greenwood, MS. Joe married Marjorie Jackson on January 13, 1961; they were married for 50-years before Marjorie's death in 2011. Joe will be missed and remembered by his two children, Teresa Myers and husband Russ, and John Moore and wife Kathy; four grandchildren, Scott Swindoll and wife Ashley, Christopher Swindoll and wife Kim, Sara Swindoll and Marjorie Moore; four great grandchildren, Kamdyn Swindoll, Kirklynn Swindoll, Jackson Cleaver, and Amelia Swindoll, all of Lubbock. Joe was the oldest of five children, he is also survived by his siblings, Joe Ann Saari of Canyon Lakes, TX, Barbara Moore, Davis Moore and wife Lisa, Verna Kimble and husband Dennis, all of Lubbock. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 P.M., Friday, July 18, 2014 at Agape Funeral Chapel with Mike Martindale officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations, in honor of Joe, to Hospice of the South Plains 1401 9th St Lubbock, TX 79401. Arrangements were entrusted to Agape Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Lubbock.
