Joe Cunningham Obituary Joe died on November 19, 2017 at the age of 89 years, 3 months and 2 days. He was the eighth child of ten, born to Roy and Stella Cunningham. He was born in Blair, Oklahoma and passed from this world in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Joe married Barbara Jean Lee in Rogers, Arkansas on February 21, 1950. They raised 5 sons. Joe provided for his family as a Greyhound Bus Driver and Red Arrow Freight Truck driver. They lived in Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico and Missouri in their 54 years together. After Barbara's death, Joe married Dorothy (Dot) Gipson on January 1, 2005. Joe is survived by his wife, Dot; by 4 sons and their wives, Rick and Donna of Big Spring; Stanley and Linda of Pleasant View, Tennessee; Kenny and Gina of McKinney; Steve and Amber of Italy; by one sister and brother-in-law, Marceline and Johnny Culliton of Denton; by 34 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and by a large number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, eight of his siblings, his wife, Barbara and by one son, Jimmy. Joe was a devout Christian man, with Christian brothers and sisters at the Kings Ridge Church of Christ and the Sunset Church of Christ, both in Lubbock, and had Christian ties over the entire world.
