Jimmy Dean Obituary Jimmy D. Dean passed from this life Wednesday, November 28, 2012. He was born into this life Friday, January 18, 1946 to Thomas and Rozell (Kimmons) Dean in Artesia, New Mexico. Jimmy married Holly Gardner April 30, 2004. Jimmy was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, and his foster-father Jack Merritt. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Holly; daughters, Janell Orona, Kayla Dean, Amanda Chihuahua, stepdaughter Kelly Miller, stepson Clayton Riley McBride; four grandsons; one granddaughter; three step-grandsons; and three step-granddaughters. The family of Jimmy D. Dean, suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge of Lubbock, 3511 10th St. Lubbock, TX 79415. A memorial service to celebrate Jimmy's 66 years of life will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Agape Funeral Chapel, Lubbock, Texas.
