Jesus Valdez Obituary Services for Jesus G. Valdez, 91, of Shallowater will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Agape Funeral Chapel with the Chaplain Dr. Terry W. Jones officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Agape Funeral Chapel. Jesus died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Mi Casita nursing home. He was born on November 29, 1920 in Edinburg, Texas. He married Trinidad Herrera on Nov. 28, 1946 in Missouri City, Texas. Jesus was preceded in death by his wife Trinidad Herrera Valdez. He is survived by three sons, Jesse Valdez Jr., Joe Valdez, and Rene Valdez all of Lubbock; three daughters, Mary Borrego of Midland, Janie Villanueva, and Adela Elkins, both of Lubbock; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tony Villanueva, Jr., David Borrego, Timothy Morales, Craig Borrego, Eric Morales and Augi Sanchez. The Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Agape Funeral Chapel.
