Jerry Mercer Obituary Jerry Wayne Mercer, 74 of Lubbock, passed away Monday, Feb. 2 at his home. Jerry was born in Oklahoma City, Ok on Nov. 21, 1940. He was preceded in death by Carol Skaats Mercer, the mother of his children and their son Dewayne Mercer. He is survived by Brenda Gutierrez of Lubbock, Ferrin Mercer of Abilene, Carolyn Adams of Abilene, Debbie Mercer of Lubbock, and LaDonna Mercer of Lubbock, 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife Jo Clark Mercer. Memorial service will be at Agape Funeral Chapel, Lubbock on Thursday Feb. 5 at 1PM. Reverend Jim Clayton will officiate. Services
