Jerrel Pipes Obituary Jerrel Layne Pipes, 60, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his immediate family. Layne was born in Crosbyton Texas on June 18, 1956 to Edna Terry. He owned Home Appliance Service for over 20 years. He was well known in appliance repair circles as a true Maytag repairman, always prepared to be there for you. Layne's passion for fishing was second only to his love for his family and close friends, who he would often drop everything in order to help. Layne is survived by a son, Jayson Pipes, a daughter, Kady Pipes Gallagher and one grand daughter, Mya Gallagher. Interment will be at the Ralls Cemetery and a memorial service will be held in his honor for close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the charity of your choice.
