Jeffrey Stringer, Sr Obituary Jeffrey E. Stringer, Sr., 55, passed from this life Tuesday, July 30, 2013, in Lubbock, TX. He was born into this life Wednesday, October 16, 1957 to James and Ulla (Resler) Stringer in Washington, IN; raised in Carlsbad, N.M. Jeff worked for Commercial Metals, Lubbock, as a heavy equipment operator. A special "thank you" is extended to all family members and friends for your support on Jeff's journey home. Jeff is survived by his wife Colleen Stringer; his son Jeffrey E. Stringer, Jr.; four sisters, Betty J. Shake, Judy Kent, Jo Goff, and Jane Carreras; and one brother, James E. Stringer.
