Janessa Greene Obituary Janessa Dee Ann Greene passed from this life Monday, June 24, 2013, in Lubbock, after a courageous fight with lupus. She was born into this life February 26, 1980 to Richard and Deanna (Bowersox) Jones, in Big Spring. She lived most of her life in Lubbock and attended Frenship and Smyer schools. Janessa married Steven Greene on April 6, 2004 in Las Vegas, N.V. She loved animals, her family and playing with her grandkids. Janessa was preceded in death by her Grandfather, Jean Bowersox; Uncle Michael Bowersox, and her father-in-law, Ronnie Greene. She is survived by her husband, Steven Greene; her mother and step-father, Deanna and Brent Repstine; her father and step-mother, Richard and Joy Jones; a brother Jeremy (Larcina) Jones; a sister Jeanna Williams; a step-daughter Candice (Kyle) Simons; grandmother, Dorothy Bowersox; 6 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 grandchildren, and her beloved companion, Junior Allen Greene. A funeral service, to celebrate Janessa's 33 years of life, is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Neil Chapel, Carillon House, Lubbock, with Jim Powell officiating. Burial will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery. The family will greet friends at Agape Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
