James Fortenberry Obituary James Fortenberry LUBBOCK-James Happy Fortenberry, 88 years of age, transitioned peacefully at 11 p.m., Sunday, May 28, 2017. His first love was Jesus and his beloved wife of 64 years. He is survived by Alda Fortenberry, his wife; two children; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He enjoyed pastoring for many years and worked as a paint contractor. He never met a stranger and loved to read books about our Lord. Services will be held at 1st Assembly of God, 3801 98th Street, Lubbock, Texas, on Friday, June 2, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1st, at Agape Funeral Chapel, 6625 19th Street, Lubbock, Texas, from 5 to 7 p.m. Services
