Irma Vasquez Obituary Irma Vasquez passed from this life, to be with her heavenly father, Saturday, August 31, 2013, in Lubbock. She was born into this life Saturday, February 23, 1957 to Jose Chavez and Matilda Vasquez in Lubbock. Irma loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. She also enjoyed watching professional wrestling with her family. Irma was a loving and caring mother, and grandmother, to all who knew her; but most of all, she loved her savior, Jesus Christ. Irma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ismall Aguirre, and a son Mark Anthony Vasquez. She is survived by her children; Vern Vasquez and wife Leticia of Lubbock, Cheyenne Vasquez Mendoza and husband Ruben of Corona CA, Esperanza Aguirre of Dallas and Lori Hernandez of Lubbock; one sister Elvia Chavez-Aguirre and husband Esteban of Dallas; one nephew Johnny Lovato and three children of Dallas; 12 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. A funeral service, to commemorate Irma's 56 years of life, is scheduled for 4:00 P.M., Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Agape Funeral Chapel, Lubbock, with Robert Renteria officiating. The Vasquez family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M., Wednesday at Agape Funeral Chapel, Lubbock.
