Irene Gonzales Obituary Memorial service for Irene Lucia Hilliker-Gonzales, 79 of Lubbock, will be at 11am Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Agape Funeral Chapel, with Bruce Cotton officiating. Irene passed away on April 30, 2015 and was born October 8, 1935 in Tulle, France. She was married July 13, 2011 to Manuel Gonzales III. Irene was a WWII survivor, graduating from schools in Germany and France to include finishing schools and cooking schools in both countries. She immigrated with 3 children to Denver in 1959. She was involved in many business ventures before retiring in 1999. Survivors include husband Manuel L. Gonzales; son Arthur Hilliker of Carlsbad, NM; daughter Danielle Vulles of Post Falls, ID; two granddaughters, Theresa Duffield of Coeur d'Alene, ID and Katie Bonds of Kingsland, TX; grandson Will Hilliker of Midland, TX and five great grandchildren. Irene was preceded in death by son, Tom Hilliker of Chicago, IL. Irene loved Jesus, was saved and born again, and we know she is in Heaven. Glory to God Almighty.
