Howard Chapman Obituary A graveside service for Howard J.F. Chapman is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, March 2, 2012 at City of Lubbock Cemetery, Lubbock. J.F was born Saturday, September 1, 1923 and passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012. He married Peggy Chapman on August 13, 1947 and they had two daughters, Amy Ruth and Elizabeth Jo and one son, Robert Wayne. Peggy passed away November of 2002. J.F. was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army; he served with the 300th Combat Engineers in W.W. II. He was in France, August 1944 and drove the "Red Ball Express". He worked as a Salesman for Moncrief Lenor for many years. J.F. is survived by his son, Robert Wayne Chapman and daughter, Liz Langford and husband, Karl of Lubbock; two grandchildren, Nicholas Joseph Langford and wife, Sheridan and Travis Kent Langford In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Peggy's Garden c/o Robert Chapman c/o Tornado Gallery 1824 Buddy Holly Ave. Lubbock, Texas 79401 or a favorite charity.
