Gerald "Jerry" Franks Obituary Gerald "Jerry" Webster Franks, Jr., 55, of Lubbock, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2016. A graveside tribute will be held at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow, Texas, under the direction of Agape Funeral Chapel and Crematory Jerry was born on December 12, 1960, in Greenville, Mississippi, to Pete and Peggy Franks. Jerry grew up in Greenville before his family moved to Lubbock, Texas in 1968. Jerry joined the United States Air Force in 1979 and lived in many places before settling back in Lubbock in 1989. Jerry is survived by his dad, Gerald "Pete" Franks, Sr., of Lubbock; his sister Susan Spradling and husband Terry; niece Stephanie Dominguez and husband Robert; step children, Melissa Wein and husband Kyle, and Stacy Lopez; step grandson, Marshal McCloskey and fianc Kelsey Johnson and his very special friend, Pam Jones. He is preceded in death by his wife Sherry Franks and his mom Dorothy "Peggy" Franks.
