Gabriel Garcia Obituary Gabriel Rudy Garcia, 55, of Lubbock passed away on December 25, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. John Neuman Catholic Church, 5802 22nd St., Lubbock, Texas 79407 with Father Bill Anton officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Agape Funeral Chapel & Crematory. Gabriel was born on October 23, 1970, in Lubbock, Texas to Raul and Erminia Garcia. He grew up in Lubbock and graduated from Coronado High School in 1989. He was in the marching band and part of the drumline. He was a drummer all his life, starting at a very young age with pots and pans. He was born with a musician's ear and loved to play. He was also a journeyman plumber by trade and worked for Armstrong for 20 years. Gabriel enjoyed the outdoors hiking, kayaking, and fishing with his family. He also enjoyed hanging out with his boys and parents and his brother. Gabriel never met a stranger. He grew up in the catholic church. He married Robyn Phillips on October 5, 2002, in Lubbock. Gabriel is survived by his wife Robyn Garcia of Lubbock; three sons, Nathanial Phillips, Cyrus Garcia, Nicholas Garcia all of Lubbock; brother, Julian Matthew Garcia of Lubbock; parents, Raul and Erminia Garcia of Lubbock; and two grandsons (twins), River and Ryder Phillips of Lubbock.
