Frieda Campbell Obituary Freida Eloise Manning Campbell Born on November 1, 1943 in Lubbock, Texas to Homer A. and Ruby E. Manning. She passed away on May 16, 2015 at UMC after a short illness. She attended school in Lubbock and was a 1962 graduate of Monterrey High School. She married Donald Loyd Campbell on June 8, 1962 in Lubbock, Texas. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Brandi Campbell Thompson of Bay Village, Ohio and Kasi Campbell Chapman of Kyle, Texas, their spouses and 5 grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Toni Sue Manning Chambers of Lubbock, two aunts, Dinella Lowe of Lubbock and Lily McGlathery of Lueders. She is proceeded in death by her parents and one son, Kent Lane Campbell. She was organizing registrar of the Descendants of the Ropesville Resettlement Project, 1936-1943. She was also the church secretary and a member of Southside Church of Christ. Visitation will be at Southside Church of Christ on Thursday May 21, 2015 at 1 p.m. with service following at 2 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Cemetery following the service. Services
