Francisco
Perez
Sep 11, 1967 — Jan 24, 2026
Francisco "Frank" Perez, a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas, at the age of 58. Born on September 11, 1967, in Dimmitt, Texas, Frank grew up in the warm community of Brownfield where he attended local schools in Wellman, developing a strong foundation of knowledge and a spirit of resilience that would characterize his entire life.
Frank's journey was one of constant movement and passion, marked by his years as a dedicated truck driver and skilled welder. His work was not just a means to provide for his family but also a source of pride and fulfillment.
An avid animal lover, Frank found joy and companionship in his dogs, who were his loyal friends and often his adventurous companions. He was also passionate about working on vehicles of any kind, a hobby that showcased his handy and inventive nature. Frank's love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him, as he embraced every opportunity to be surrounded by nature's beauty.
Frank's adventurous spirit was balanced by his deep love for his family. He is survived by his children, Francisco Perez, Jr. and wife Ruby of Wolfforth, Angelina Galvan and husband Tim of Lubbock, Erin Perez and wife Karagen Rojas of Lubbock, and Daniel Perez and fiancée Angelica Perez of New York. He was a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren, whose lives he enriched with his wisdom and playful spirit. Frank also leaves behind two brothers, Angel Perez and Eutimo Perez, Jr., and three sisters, Alice Tarango, Cynthia Perez, and Slyvia Perez, all of Lubbock, who will miss his loving presence dearly.
Those who knew Frank will remember him as a man who was as handy as he was loving, as adventurous as he was steadfast. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, the stories shared among friends, and the impact he made on his community. Frank's life was a testament to the power of hard work, the importance of family, and the joy of living each day to the fullest.
