Francis Dial Obituary Services for Varie Dial, of Lubbock, will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 17, 2011, at Skyline Baptist Church, Lubbock, under the direction of Agape Funeral Chapel, with Willard Scott and Syl Moore officiating. Burial will be in Terrace Cemetery, Post. Family and friends will gather from 5:00-7:00 P.M., Monday, January 16, 2012, to fellowship and remember her life of 93 years. Varie was born in Becton Texas, on March 13, 1918 to Joseph Yett and Bennie Margaret Anderson-Yett. She married Oliver Burgin Dial on Sunday, September 2, 1945 in Salem Oregon. Varie passed away Friday, January 13, 2012. Varie was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Dial. She is survived by three sons, Jimmy Ray of Palestine, Joseph Burgin of Lubbock, and Charles Steven of Lubbock; two brothers, Charles Yett of Lubbock, and Brent Yett of Lubbock; one sister, Rene Scott; 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
