Frances Voyles Obituary Frances Loreda Voyles, 86 of Lubbock, passed away on May 31, 2015. Frances was born June 26, 1928 in Denton, Texas to Thomas and Elizabeth Early. Frances married Marshall Odell Voyles August 17, 1957. He passed away in 1986. Frances passed away in the house she has lived at for 46 years. She was mainly a housewife and mother. She started volunteering at Bacon Heights Baptist Church in the nursery in 1969. Eventually became a paid worker for Mother's Day Out and for church services. She loved all the babies. Even when she got to where she couldn't walk well, they would bring her the babies to hold and feed. She retired after 30 years, but continued to volunteer after that for quite some time. We think they finally had to run her off. She started going to church more then, but hasn't gone in a while due to her illness. Frances is survived by four children; Kay Elliott and spouse Steve, Debra Thompson, James Voyles, all of Lubbock, and son Adam Hilzer of Austin, TX. She has 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 5 sisters, and her oldest granddaughter, Dana Rhea Dodson. Viewing will be at Agape Funeral Chapel from 5-7pm on Tuesday, June 2, 2016. Memorial service will be at 1:30pm on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Bacon Heights Baptist Church.
