Elson Tucker Obituary Elson Ray Tucker, 52, of Lubbock passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 peacefully at his residence surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Denison, TX on February 10, 1959. Elson was an outstanding welder but his love was driving commercial trucks over the road. He loved animals, especially his dogs. He always had a dog with him as a special pal when he drove. Left to cherish Elson's memory are his mother, Shirley Hamlin (AJ); father, Emerson Tucker (Pat); dear friend Tamy Snider; sister, Beth Garrett (Ed); stepsister, Lisa Harwell (Vernon); stepbrother, Jonny Hamlin (Kay); adopted sister Cindy Burleson and multiple nephews and nieces. Memorial services will be at Agape Chapel in Lubbock on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 2 p.m. The family would like to thank the physicians and staff of Southwest Cancer Center and Interim Hospice for their gracious care and concern.
